How about some game details? Who did they play, who pitched, who had big hits, what was the score? Thanks,

They beat Abingdon 15-0. Tirzah Lane pitch 4 innings and Shianna Grills pitch 1 inning. The whole team knocked the cover off the ball.

Rye Cove only has 2 playing right now Edwards got hurt at basketball. I myself taking nothing from other people but there is some that is really stepping up from GC that is looking good. They look like a pretty solid team. Should be a good day tomorrow the 4th of July and softball sounds good to me.

You didn't answer my question. How are the girls from Rye Cove doing? I knew the Edwards girl got hurt at Emory & Henry but I didn't realize that it was serious enough to cause her to miss softball.

The Edwards girl has a torn ACL with surgery coming soon. The Lawson kid played great defense, but is struggling at bats. The McComas girl has really stepped up and played very well on July 4'th. GC beat Bristol 16-0. Grills had a no hitter through 3 innings, with only one walk which was questionable. Lawson came in and finished the last two innings. This team looks good, best all around solid softball team I have seen in a while. They play again Sat. 7'th at 12:00 pm against Damascus.

Last night one of the coaches for Bristol was saying that the Bristol Jr. League team was the best team that has ever stepped on the Bristol softball field. LOL, I had to chuckle and walk away.

What was that guy smoking.Sounds like the crack pipe needs to be put down. There own 11-12 would beat that team.
There are some people that have no clue about good softball. That 13-14 bunch has won some games but that is usually when there is no competition. They year they won the state as 11's they did not have to win 1 game to go and there were only 5 teams in the state and they received a first round bye. I watched that state tournament and a girl from one of the other teams was pitching sling shot style. It was a joke.
